Good PDA quality MFG February 27, 2009 JimmyCrackCorn (Snowy Michigan) I have used palm/asus this is by far the best longest lasting the chevy truck of PDA's.
Battery continually loses it's mind March 23, 2005 Ben (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this unit about 2 years ago and love the features it has. Unfortunately some days the battery and the unit works fine, the next day it loses the entire battery and the unit is completely dead with no data left. Basically on good days the unit uses about 10% battery life, on bad days the entire battery will go all at once.
Further research has shown all the Toshiba PDA's suffer from the same problem. Never will I buy one from Toshiba again.
Total Waste of Money March 11, 2005 Charlie (Michigan USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the e330 and about 25 days later, the unit refused to turn on. The battery had been FULLY charged. I had noticed the unit started to shutdown by itself a few days prior. Eventually it just refused to turn on. I had babied the e330 since day one and tried to give PDAs a chance, but I went back to a notepad and pen. It only cost me $1 max.
The e330 did offer decent screen quality, fast operating speed, and worked fairly well limited as it may be. It played videos very nicely but I wasn't too happy with this power-on failure.
The worst mistake I've ever made June 3, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased my pocket PC on April 2003. This is so far the worst mistake I've ever made, it crashes constantly and it looses all the information stored in file at all times. The battery life is approximately close to garbage and their customer service is terrible, far from efficient, inpolite, and quite lazy. Had I known this product was a piece of garbage, I would have never, never bought it. In fact, I don't think I will ever purchase a Toshiba product EVER AGAIN.
Don't buy this if you want support or SDIO April 15, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought the E330 because of features, form and price over the HP1910 which was a BIG mistake.Toshiba provide no ROM support and if you want wireless you have to use Toshiba's overpriced Bluetooth card. Here is my letter to Toshiba. Official Complaint. Why does the SD slot on my E330 not operate as SDIO, why is there no ROM Upgrade and why is there no product support available for my E330? This is a relatively new machine, I only purchased it last May and yet when I contacted customer support in June about the lack of a real SDIO Toshiba already did not provide any support for it. I have contacted Customer Service several times about product support with total dissatisfaction. In particular your product labelling and it's feature claims are designed to deceive or dupe the consumer. The box says "Built-in SD slot for additional memory and devices" and "SD slot for expandability". If you are not going to provide support for this product then that is tantamount to duping the consumer by false advertising. I have to soft reset the device almost every week due to unexplained lockups. Please let me know where you would like me to send this unmerchantable product and confirm that you will provide a full refund to me. (I am serious) Very dissatisfied customer
